Description

As he finally decided to leave a good impression, the intern replaced the box’s Kerberos system with a homemade version, inspired by a work from Edmond Rostand. You would have heard him say that his “Homemade crypto” was about to become the next standard. His program is available in the stage3 directory.

Challenge Instructions

  1. First, download docker-compose.yml:
    curl https://hackropole.fr/challenges/fcsc2021-misc-privesc-me/docker-compose.public.yml -o docker-compose.yml
  2. Launch the challenge by executing in the same folder:
    docker compose up
  3. Then, in another console, access the challenge with SSH:
    ssh -p 2222 challenger@localhost
⚠️ Important: You must solve the challenge by interacting with the Docker container through the exposed network port. Any other way is not considered valid.
