Description

In order to hide his communications, a thug has decided to use a dedicated radio wave broadcast system based on PAL videos to discuss with his friends. He hopes that this will be undected in the digital new era.

Thanks to your SDR, you have intercepted a sensitive communication but do not have the proper hardware to decode the PAL signal! You know that the thug uses a PAL transmitter with a black and white TV (hence with no limuninance nor chrominance data) with a resolution of 768 pixels per ligne and 576i (classical for PAL), and that the signal only consists of video withour audio.

You have been able to digitize the analog signals in the file capture.vcd by isolating the synchronization signal as well as the data signal. You are confident that you will be able to decode this PAL signal to find the secret message!
